SITE HISTORY

The History of James Allen DeBoer, The initial creator of jdeboer.com which is now ddeboer.com. He was born October 2, 1941 in Fairbury, Nebraska the fourth of five children of Obed and Cleda DeBoer, the first to be born in a Hospital. Besides Fairbury, I have lived in Goodland, Kansas, The Dalles, Oregon, Boise, Idaho, Moses Lake, Washington, the Seattle, Washington area, San Jose, California and Tucson, Arizona. I graduated from Mt. Rainer High School in Des Moines, Washington in 1960. I was active in football, basketball, wrestling, and track. I attended San Jose City College from 1971-1973 in Computer Science, no degree. I have been married four times, with two boys from my first marriage. My present wife and I have been married since 1985. I have been disabled with Ankylosing Spondylitis since 1971 and am currently pretty much bound to an electric wheelchair. I am Dutch, Irish, and Scotch. My wife is Greek and Italian.

My name is Dale James DeBoer and I am Jim DeBoer's oldest son. My Father passed away on December 29th, 1997 in the ICU section of the Tucson Medical Center from Viral and Fungal Pneumonia. I have tried for the past 4 years to resume this website with the same attention to detail that my father did and I was soon overwhelmed with the complex, intricate details that are part of a web site. I also see my Dad every time I look at this website so that was a challenge to overcome also. Now I believe I have corrected 99% of the bad links and have represented the same site but in a new package. I would appreciate any and all input geared towards updating current, and initiating new lines of ancestry.
